I saw someone display one of these on a plant forum and I had to own it. I loved how some of the pitchers are half colors. Definitely was not unhappy in my purchase of one.

These BOGO’s arrived in great shape. Each had a fully mature pitcher and new leaf maturation bringing new pitchers. They are content and growing in a SE window. I’ll be back!

Nepenthes x St. Gaya
Nepenthes x St.Gaya, is a compact, easy-to-grow hybrid ofN. khsiana x (ventricosa x maxima). It is a vigorous growing carnivorous tropical pitcher plant with large upright pitchers with cherry red speckles on yellow-green backgrounds. The trap mouths are wide and oval. It's parent species are quite adaptable, growing in the open or shade, among grasses and shrubs. It is very cold tolerant, but prefers warm, humid, bright conditions. It is quite good at catching large insects, such as: stink bugs, wasps and yellow jackets. It is a great house plant, that can be grown outdoors in the affectionate weather with a minimal transition period. It is a good Nepenthesfor beginners.

I think it’s potted in coconut coir with peat and maybe sphagnum moss. I haven’t checked the soil TDS wet but it’s probably high. I have almost no experience with Nepenthes but I know Gaya is a great starter plant.
