Who's Gay in K-Pop? Pt.1
It’s almost inevitable in K-pop that same-sex couples will be shipped, from almost every band. And with each couple that is shipped, you also get the people who rant about how none of our oppars and unnirs are actually gay, and lgbtq+ shippers are delusional, and can’t inform the difference between fanservice and homosexuality(bisexuality & pansexuality included). But I crave to look beyond shipping and fanservice, and girl collective dances to grab a valid observe at who may actually fall somewhere between the middle and beyond of the Kinsey scale. I do ship, I won’t recline and pretend that I don’t. I think it’s a normal part of being a human, and being deeply interested in pop identity, since there come across to be ships in literally every fandom that exists on Earth, including NBA, Harry Potter, Star Trek, and just about anything you can believe of. But some ships are just for fun, and aren’t truly as questionable as others. Please feel free to talk to me about anyone in K-pop or any Asian fun that you assume might actually be gay, or that you think I’m way off ground about, but in this post, I will be discussing a few of the K-Pop idols who I ponder are gay and

I’m Swedish, born and raised, still living in this northern part of Europe with it’s chilly climate and welfare state. I’m a guy who just turned 30, a teacher and more important for now – I’m kind of a fanboy. In a K-pop kind of sense that is. Key(of SHINee) is so obviously my bias and I sometimes find it hard to comprehend how this works. What is it about that man/idol that keeps me captivated? Don’t grasp. Do I want to know?
Earlier this evening, Mis sent me the Key-gif to the left. Attached were the words: “Thought he was inserting snus from the beginning.” (Snus = Swedish snuff) Snus is the most macho kind of tobacco there is in Sweden and the layers of Key perhaps using that kind tobacco is consciousness blowing, the Swedish fanboy I am.
Key is in the fandom rather portrayed in a feminine kind of way then in a macho. His interest in clothing and the quirky character his got makes this version of him understandable and a classic gay characteristic, which also is a common way to describe him. SHINee Key male lover is by the way one of the highest ranking find terms at this blog. This is perhaps not for me the most ex
