Gay gym shower twitter
Dozens in San Francisco’s gay community gathered Saturday night for a tongue-in-cheek candlelight vigil to honor the closing of a local gym’s communal showers.
Before they closed for construction this week to make way for individual stalls, the showers at Fitness SF’s Castro location were a place where gay men gathered to, adequately, be gay.
“It was more than a place to rinse off after a workout,” said Kevin John Scott, 41, in a speech to kick off the vigil. “It was a haven for stolen glances, knowing nods, and the unspoken bond of those who understood its significance.”
Jared Scherer, 50, was more suggestive.
“[It was] a place where a proper leg day wasn’t finish without a proper leg spread,” Scherer said during a speech. “A place where the gym’s real cardio workouts took place. … A place where hundreds of men gave new sense to the synonyms, ‘shower head.’”
“The communal shower was acknowledged as a queer cruising space where sex was not allowed,” Bieschke said. “But, you perceive, gay men discover a way.”
Bieschke doesn’t believe Fitness SF is being homophobic by shutting down the showers. After all, anyone who has been to the Castro location knows it is dominated by male lover men.
Of Course There’s a Candlelight Vigil for the Closing of the SF Same-sex attracted Gym’s Communal Showers
The Fitness SF location in the Castro — undeniably the city’s unofficial ‘gay gym’ — is shuttering its communal showers.
Every city has one: an unofficial gay gym. It’s, for the most part, situated inside a city’s self-designateg gayborhood; it’s usually not too bougie (think a monthly memberhships somewhere in the low-$100s), but require ample mirror latitude; the locker rooms must contain middle benches, though exist with enough space to dodge accidental grazes; it must be a reasonably clean vacuum and have that one bathroom with above-average lighting, even if it’s overhead. Of course, there must be a communal showering option … for reasons obvious and not-so-obvious reasons … (the latter harkening support to the where “cruising” was the foremost means to find potential sexual partners amid a political climate rife with homophobia).
In San Francisco, Fitness SF’s Castro location has filled and fit that niche since opening in 2012. While the room — a two-story perch overlooking Market Street, with north-facing windows that grant ample natural clear to reflect off floor-to-ce
Crunch Fitness tells members to stop having sex in the men’s locker room
The popular gym chain Crunch Fitness recently warned its members to stop having sex in the men’s locker room, urging them to instead choose “*literally* anywhere else.”
The controversy was sparked after Twitter user @rossifer, also known as OnlyFans model “Rated R Ross,” shared a picture of a sign in his gym with the caption: “Tell me you work at a male lover gym without telling me you work at a gym.”
The sign, which features the official Crunch Signature logo, says: “ATTENTION MEMBERS: Please DO NOT Acquire SEX in the Men’s Locker Room! You can have sex *literally* anywhere else, just not at Crunch Fitness. Otherwise, your membership will be immediately revoked. Please keep this a safe space for all Crunchers.”
While the tweet didn’t directly mention which Crunch Fitness location the sign was posted at, online commenters soon identified the gym as the Crunch Fitness on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, California, shining a spotlight on what appears to be a longstanding issue at the location and sparking online debates among gay men over sex

Tales of a gay man Soccer Player Slut
During my sophomore year hoe phase, a lot of crazy times happened. This one was probably one of my top 3 faves tho.I met Evan in psych that year. We were coupled together for a group undertaking early on and he and I would meet regularly to work on it. Once the end of the semester came, we finished the project, and also became decent friends. Evan (19) was my year and played soccer for our college. He was pretty lean and toned with blonde hair and blue eyes, just taller than me. While we were operational on the project together that first semester, I’d see him working out in the gym a few times. We’d state hi and do our have thing. Towards the end of October, we started talking a bit more and complaining about classes or whatever. As we were finishing our project, we started meeting twice a week to get it done. One night we just stayed up till 3 am watching YouTube videos, the Try Guys I think lol. We started seeing we had similar interests and would grab lunch after psych together. The more
